Auto-debit terms

Draft for legal review · October 2026

These terms apply when you set up auto-debit so your installments are charged to your card automatically. They add to our terms of use.

  1. When you enrol, you allow Tamapay to charge the card you choose for the installments on your schedule with your developer, and to pass each payment to your developer.

You confirm that the card is yours, or that you have the cardholder's permission.

  2. Each charge is for the amount due under the schedule your developer gives us, on or around the due date. You will see the schedule when you enrol.

We will email you a reminder before each charge and a receipt after it. If your developer changes the amount, we will tell you before the new amount is charged.

  3. If your card declines a charge, we will tell you by email and may try again a limited number of times. Your installment is not paid until a charge succeeds.

Any late fee or penalty for a missed installment is set by your developer under your contract, not by Tamapay.

  4. You can change your card or cancel auto-debit at any time through our contact page. To stop the next charge, tell us at least 3 business days before it is due.

Cancelling auto-debit does not cancel what you owe your developer. You will need to pay remaining installments another way.

We may end auto-debit if charges repeatedly fail, if your developer stops using Tamapay, or for any reason that would let us stop a payment under our terms of use. We will tell you if we do.

  5. Keep your card details and email address current. If your card expires or is replaced, update it before your next installment so the charge does not fail.

  6. If a charge looks wrong, contact us as soon as possible. Our refunds and disputes page explains how we handle it.

  7. Auto-debit is only a way to pay. It does not change your contract with your developer, and your developer remains responsible for the property and for your payment schedule.
